Semper Femina
An Exhibition celebrating the resilience and vulnerability of women and the ever changing female state, expressed through the elemental flow of our connection with colour and nature.
"Varium et mutabile, semper femina" is taken from Virgil's Aeneid, and roughly translates to
“inconstant and changeable is woman”. Though intended as an insult, I have taken this as a compliment.
I want to express that it is these very qualities that make women unique and resilient.
